The POWER PLUS (TM) 18 is our complete "deluxe" "Integrated Fuse Box" wiring
system. This 18 circuit system combines a complete factory pre-wired fuse box with the benefits of our
modular approach to wiring systems. With the POWER PLUS (TM) 18 system, the inconvenience of trying to mount
the fuse panel with a huge bundle of wire attached is significantly reduced. The
POWER PLUS (TM) 18 panel contains necessary passenger compartment lead
wires and modular plugs for each of the major branch circuits of your car. This makes the job of mounting
the fuse panel easier than any other "Integrated Fuse Box" system on the market. Once the fuse panel
location has been selected, the instrument panel wiring can be completed.
The remaining four branch circuits are then connected individually utilizing our easy to follow instructions
and pictures. Check the features of the POWER PLUS (TM) 18
and see why it is the best deluxe function "Integrated Fuse Box" kit on the market today.
Technical Tip:
There is no magic behind the connector hanging off the bottom of your steering column.
It handles the operation of your turn signals, horn, and hazard flasher to name a few. Most aftermarket
manufacturers use a GM turn signal switch that exits the column with a flat connector.
The 3 7/8" connector was Used by GM on all columns from 1969 thru 1974. The 4-1/4" connector was
used from 1975 on. Therefore, it is a good bet that your new after market column or used GM column
has one of these connectors.
