DD can only be phased at 180 degrees while splined shafts can be rotated fractionally. The advantage to DD, however, is that it can be cut to any length eliminating the need to premeasure. You will need to choose which shafting you will be using prior to ordering the iniversal joints, since one side accomodates the shaft. (3/4" round with two flats) Cut to length. Drill two indents for set screws. Use loctite and tighten set screws. |
