1935 to 1948 Ford Door Bottoms

It's finally here after many requests. EMS Automotive has produced a lower door bottom repair kit for the 1935- 1948 Fords. The lower door is a rust prone area on these old Fords and since a good rust free door is very difficult to find and ship, it makes very good sense to repair the old door with a high quality door bottom repair section from EMS.

The EMS door bottom repair kit includes an outer skin of 20 gauge steel and an inner structure stamping of 18 gauge steel. Since doors rust from the inside out it makes very good sense to repair both areas at the same time.

The inner door structure is die stamped with all the original shapes and features along with door brace attachment points. The outer skin is a 20 gauge steel stamping with all the original shapes and curves. The best feature of the outer skin is that the hem flange is formed to a reverse 45 degree angle to allow for easy final flanging during installation. The inner structure and outer skin are shipped un-assembled in a kit form.
